1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Synlie, you agree to these legal terms. Synlie is a social pulse-sharing and compatibility platform. These terms govern your access to pulses, matching features, direct messaging, and analytics.

2. Account Registration

To use Synlie, you must provide accurate information, including your birth year, location, and other profile details. These details are used by our matching algorithms. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account.

3. Pulses, Voting, and Content

Pulse Creation: You can create pulses with custom titles, descriptions, and images. Once a pulse is published, options cannot be changed.

Voting: Each user can cast one vote per pulse. Depending on pulse settings, you may be allowed to change your vote before the pulse closes.

Images and Media: Any images uploaded as part of a pulse or vote (WDYT) must comply with our community standards. We do not claim ownership of your media, but you grant us a license to display it.

4. Matching and Compatibility

Synlie uses your voting patterns to calculate matching scores with other users ("Same Frequency" and "Cognitive Opposite"). These scores are public unless you opt-out in your privacy settings. You acknowledge that these are statistical calculations for social purposes.

5. Direct Messaging and Social Interaction

Synlie provides direct messaging (DM) and following features. You agree not to use these features for harassment, spam, or any form of abuse. We reserve the right to limit or revoke access to messaging if these terms are violated.

6. Community Standards and Moderation

Users can report comments, pulses, or profiles that violate our rules. Our moderation team reviews these reports. We may hide, delete, or suspend content and accounts that are found to be in violation of community safety.

7. Analytics and Data Export

Pulse results include anonymized demographic breakdowns (e.g., votes by gender or education level). Users can export pulse results in CSV format for personal analysis.

Synlie is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-generated content or the results of compatibility algorithms.
