Would Saharan heat be a boon or bane for Europe this summer?

As hot air from the Sahara sweeps across Europe, some see it as an extreme weather crisis while others view it as a natural phenomenon with less severe impacts. The real debate is over how prepared cities are to handle such high temperatures.

Look, everyone's freakin out about this Saharan heat like it's the goddamn apocalypse, but honestly? It's summer, it gets hot, big deal. The real issue isnt the weather itself, it's that our cities are totally clueless on how to handle it. I mean, look at the actual numbers—Europe is warmin up faster than anywhere else on earth, and these heatwaves are gonna bleed European cities for like an insane €126 billion by 2029. Yet, like almost half of these places (46%!!) still dont even have a basic plan to budget for this stuff or fix their trash infrastructure.
